Minx at Stacey Clark’s Spring/Summer 2012 Odilon Collection
From Sydney to New York City, Minx covers the nails of the fashion world. New York designer Stacey Clark presented the Spring/Summer 2012 Odilon line at the Metropolitan Pavilion in September 2011 – the day before Fashion Week’s official beginning.
New York celebrity nail stylist Lisa Logan led the fab nail stylist team in creating and applying nail fashions for the show. Lisa worked worked closely with Stacey Clark and stylist Keegan Singh a week before the presentation to create a custom Minx that complemented Clark’s refined, minimalist collection.
“The Odilon team wanted a clean, fresh look to accompany the ensembles, so we played around with combinations and finally selected a white nail with nude moon,” explained Lisa.
A Great Team
The evening of the presentation, Lisa led a nail stylist team of Danielle Corbin Jaime, Sheana Fair, Iman Hayward and Teresa King as they applied the custom Minx to fourteen models. The collection overall was very well received, with editors from Vogue, Elle, NY Magazine, and WWD in attendance.
“Minx is ideal for runway shows because you do not have to worry about smudging or drying the models’ nails, and with hair and makeup all working at once, that’s a huge benefit,” added Danielle, the owner of Nail Taxi NYC.
There is plenty to go around, the ever-growing Minx team is finding it’s niche across the globe. Be sure to check out Minx at Camilla Frances Spring/Summer 2012 show, Katy Perry’s latest custom minx and Minx @ Fashion Week in Stockholm.
