To welcome in the new season Inspirationail has teamed up with the talented Laura Biz to bring you this floral nail art tutorial.

A gorgeous yet simple design for you to re-create at home.

The colours are inspired by the Fall 2014 Pantone report. That’s right folks, we’re matching future seasons colours with the current seasons designs, we suggest you try it – you may like it. 😉

Prep

Before starting the design, file down your nails, gently push back your cuticles and apply a base coat.

Step 1

Step 2

Allow the polish to soak into the sponge a little bit. Lightly dab the sponge across the top half of the nail. Continue to dab the purple colour into the nail, start each layer slightly further up the nail to achieve the ombre effect.

Top Tip: Let each layer of the ombre colour dry before adding the next layer, if you don’t the sponge will pick up the wet polish and the outcome won’t be the same.

Step 3

Top Tip: For white circles start with a dot in the middle and gradually move out towards the edges to create the perfect petal effect.
