Minx Dresses Up Fashion’s Night Out with Vogue China
We are bringing the fashion season nail trends to you from around the globe as we spot them coming in. Minx Nails has made their way to China to help spice up the fashion scene there too.
Fashion’s Night Out with Vogue China
Vogue China partnered with Minx for a sensational event that took place backstage at the Shanghai Hyatt Hotel, the Muse Club (for the red carpet and kick off), Xintiandi (for the mall event) and Alter (for yet another mall event).
The Vogue editorial department – specifically the marketing manager Luyi Di, insisted on using Minx nail fashion for this event because she likes the idea of tying nails, clothing, accessories and jewelry together for a complete look.
The Nail Team
Jessica Yang led the nail stylist team of Jean Yang, Crystal Jiao and Jacqueline Bai for the event. Jessica also worked with Minx co-founders Janice Jordan and Dawn Lynch-Goodwin to create five potential custom designs for the shoot. They were narrowed down to a final choice of Vogue FNO special edition Minx.
“While it was exhausting to work the entire day, it was also exciting to meet so many famous people who all wanted to wear Minx,” reported Jessica. “Many top models wore Minx and the chief editor of Vogue China, Angelica, wore Minx on her toes!”
Superstar, top model and current ambassador for Prada, Ji Lili appeared in Minx. As did the last season’s Top Model of China, Si Miao Bin. Jessica will work with Vogue China again for their global 120th anniversary and Vogue China’s 7 year birthday party in Beijing.
