pushBUTTON and Minx Are at it Again
It seems they are loving Minx Nails in Korea and they are strutting down quite a few Korean catwalks this year!
pushBUTTON Fall/ Winter 2012/ 13 Collection
This is Minx nails second time down the runway with pushBUTTON and they work well together. This time it was all about glittering gold on the models’ hands to accent this fun, frivolous collection.
A week before the show, Erica Kim and Jane Kim from Minx Nails Korea met with a designer of pushBUTTON, Seung Gun Park to talk nails. The show was called “Promise Forever Young” and the concept was to reflect the hearts of women – especially of their desire to be young.
Seung Gun wanted the nails to match with the lipstick and the gold signature print which expressed glamor. Gold, a symbol of eternal luxury and elegance, was chosen to be the color that Minx would emphasize.
The Nail Team
Korean celebrity manicurists Jinny Kim and Mira Jang, along with Erica Kim, Jane and Helena Kim from Minx Nail Korea applied Minx on 20 models. Even the male models in the show wore Minx – but only on some of their fingers.
“I really enjoy using Minx for runway shows,” said Jinny Kim. “There’s no drying time so Minx can be applied very quickly, without endangering the clothes. Plus, the Golden Lightning Minx has so much impact on the runway – it caught the eyes of all the fashionistas present at the show!”
The Pushbutton show was a huge success with many celebrities in attendance, and the collection was featured on the homepage of Vogue Italy shortly after.
It seems that no matter where you are, Minx is there. Be sure to check out Minx in Italian Vogue, Minx in Harper’s Bazaar China and another recent Korean show that wore Minx down the runway, Steve J. & Yoni P.
