Minx Debut In Korea: Quirky pushBUTTON Is The Perfect Match for Spring/ Summer Collection 2012
The concept of this show was “true happiness for women,” and it demonstrated a feminine look for those who find self-satisfaction and happiness through fashion.
A few days before the show, Minx Korea nail stylists Erica Kim and Jane Kim met pushBUTTON’s designer, Seung-Gun Park at a makeup demonstration meeting. The designer wanted to use many colourful Minx designs for his show so Jane applied various Minx on models to show the variety.
Seung-Gun made his final decision to use Oil Slick, Yellow Chrome, Orange Chrome, Aqua Chrome, Blue Lightning and MinxLusion… all of which incorporated the same colors as what he had chosen for his show.
Seung-Gun wanted to ensure the Minx complemented each ensembles, and so he created a model list indicated which model should wear a specific Minx template.
Leading celebrity nail stylist Jinny Kim was joined by Erica Kim, Jane Kim, Helena Kim and Jennifer Lee to apply Minx on seventeen models for the show.
The model’s hands shimmered and glistered on the runway.
“The meeting with Minx Korea was amazing. I wanted to use Minx nails on my show from the first time I heard about Minx from one of my friends, and it was a fortunate coincidence that Erica Kim called me shortly afterward to introduce herself and Minx Korea,” added Seung-gun Park.
“pushBUTTON was the first fashion show in which Minx nails were used in Korea and I was extremely proud to be a part of the experience,” said Jane from Minx nails Korea. “I love the variety of colours that were used, and this showed people that Minx offers a wide and beautiful range of nail fashion in addition to the popular chromes and metallics.”
