You Can Help Cancer Patients Look Good & Feel Better

By Inspirationail

Look Good Feel BetterWow, much respect. Samantha Sweet of Sweet Squared & her father Simon Rouse are cycling 400km across India to raise money for the Look Good Feel Better charity. We wish them a safe ride & many amazing adventures along the way.

The Charity

Look Good Feel Better run beauty workshops for cancer patients to provide a significant confidence boost. It is the only charity specifically created to help women of all ages combat the visible side effects of their cancer treatment, providing renewed confidence & self esteem.

A Fun Donation

Their free workshops & masterclasses take place in 75 locations throughout the UK. They include instruction in skin care, makeup application, a complimentary makeup tool kit filled with donated products from the cosmetic industry, practical tips, instruction on wigs, head coverings & nail care.

You can help women gain strength, power & self-esteem back in their lives. To fund a place for a patient at a LGFB Workshop costs just £50.

The Challenge

In memory of Leonard Wallace, Samantha & Simon are cycling 400km over 6 consecutive days from Rajasthan to the Taj Mahal “To raise money to help women for an industry Leo loved, against a disease that we all loath.”. Simon & Samantha leave on November 14th, aiming to raise £4,000 for the LGFB charity.

“The beauty industry is not just skin deep – we have a sense of duty to all to keep on raising money, so that one day we will beat cancer & not have to watch our loved ones leave us.” says Samantha Sweet.

In memory of Leonard Wallace

Our deepest sympathies to Len Wallace’s family & loved ones. Len was & still is much admired within the Industry.
