CND’s Fall 2012 Runway Nail Trends – Blueblood
When it comes to manicures as runway accessories, CND is a pioneer. Their colourful brand of cruelty-free polishes are a great choice to compliment fashions of for all seasons.
No Stranger to the Catwalk
CND has worked with 22 global designers including Theory, Victoria Beckham, Moschino and Catherine Malandrino during Fall 2012 Fashion Weeks in New York and London.
“Manicures are seductive and bursting with color – ripened opaque oxbloods, high shine gold and silver metallics and sophisticated creamy nudes are the hottest hues for Fall 2012,” says CND Co-founder, Jan Arnold.
Aristocratic manicures in saturated royal navy, plum, and dark cherry rouse attention with patent leather finishes. Pair this noble nail with touchable soft fur (faux, of course), snakeskin prints and luxe tweed. At Malandrino a custom blended of CND Plumville and Dark Ruby achieve a tough girl finish; Rich CND Midnight Sapphire showed off submerged “Deep Sea Digits” at Karen Walker; Rachel Antonoff’s “Flirty Flower” nails were patriotic and patrician in CND Flashpoint, Brilliant White and Anchor Blue and Naeem Khan showed decadent burgundy nails with CND Bloodline.
