Winters are a combination of cool and clear skin tones. They often have dramatic skin colours (ranging from porcelain white to yellow-olive to deep and dark). Often we think of brunettes when it comes to winter tones, but winters actually have a much wider variety of colouration than may be expected.

There four different types of winter colours

Absolute Winter – Dark hair and light skin or very dark hair and dark skin.
Winter – Summer – Light brown hair & lighter eyes.
Winter – Spring – Almost white blonde hair & light eyes.
Winter – Autumn – Medium red or auburn hair & bright eyes.

Colours to Avoid
Winters should avoid earth tones & subdued colours like orange, gold or tan which will fade out skin tone.
