Minx Nails the Queen of Figure Skating
The Minx nails world is always one of amazing nails and high fashion, but that’s not where it ends. They also enjoy a bit of ice skating from time to time, especially with skating royalty.
The Shoot
Last month the Minx team in Korea were asked to apply nail fashion for the Dec. issue of Harper’s Bazaar Korea featuring Yuna Kim, the “Queen of Figure Skating” and a huge Korean celebrity. This was the first time a fashion magazine in Korea has presented Minx on the cover!
Yuna wore Louis Vuitton clothing and accessories along with Minx nails for her shoot.
The Nail Team
Erica Kim from Minx nails Korea and Jinny Kim, a top Korean celebrity Minx nail stylist, worked with the Harper’s Bazaar editor to decide which Minx designs would best suit the feminine concept of the shoot in Seoul.
The editor wanted to create a festive mood as well as a more adult image for the lovely Yuna, so Erica Kim recommended Red Lightning Minx.
The Look
A variety of Louis Vuitton’s gold jewelry was used during the shoot, so Jinny Kim suggested Golden Lighting Minx to perfectly match the slightly glittery but elegant theme. Luckily Jenny is a pro and was quickly able to change Yuni’s Minx super fast and it looked great!
The photo shoot continued and the Golden Lightning stressed the luxurious look just as Jinny Kim expected.
