Fashion Prodigies Steve J. & Yoni P Complete Their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection With Minx Nails
Minx Nails works around the clock to bring nail fashion to fashion shows around the world. Already making their debut in Korea this time they made an appearance at Korea’s internationally well-known brand, Steve J. & Yoni P’s Spring/ Summer 2012 Collection show at the SETEC in Seoul, Korea.
Erica Kim and Jane Kim from Minx Nails Korea met Steve and Yoni a week before the show where they discussed ideas for nail fashion. Yoni seemed like a designer who truly loves nails, so while Jane was at the designer’s show room, she applied various Minx designs on Yoni’s nails. Yoni particularly focused on the MinxLusion, Pink Chrome, and Silver Lightning Minx.
The next day, Erica received a phone call from Yoni, who had decided to use Silver Lightning and French Manicure Silver Lightning to complement the collection, saying that the chrome finish would match very well with any of her 35 looks. Yoni also requested Silver Lightning for the toes of five models that would be wearing sandals as they walked down the runway.
Steve J. & Yoni P. secured the most elite Korean models for their show: Hyoni Kang, Hyun-Yi Lee, Hye Jin Han and many other famous models worked the catwalk. Throughout the show, Minx Nails captivated all of them and one of the models exclaimed that Minx was “the most chic nail style” she had ever had.
“The show was truly hectic as we had to Minx three different model’s hands in just 10 minutes,” said Jinny Kim, a top celebrity Minx nail stylist who applied the nail fashion to the models. “We were given only 10 minutes for makeup between the shows, so all five of us who were working on nails grabbed the models’ hands one by one to make sure we managed on time. The staff at the show were so surprised that we actually completed all the models’ nails and were so impressed by how quickly we could apply Minx – especially since it didn’t require any drying time.”
When all preparations were done, nail stylists Jinny Kim, Erica Kim, Jane Kim, Helena Kim, and Jennifer Lee had completed applying Minx to 14 of the most well-known models in the Korean fashion industry.
Steve J. and Yoni P., a couple as well as co-designers of their line, are the most spotlighted designers in Korean fashion. Buyers from all around the world come to see their shows every season. Their new clothing line can be found at the opening ceremony.
