Mavala Paints Belle Sauvage @ London Fashion Week

Fashion is finally catching on to nails and we’re starting to see more than Minx strutting down the runway. Mavala is working their magic on the fashion world as well. They were at London Fashion Week complimenting the look of several different designers.

Colouring the Fashion World

Mavala Ambassador & Nail Technician of the Year Jenni Draper headed-up the Mavala team to create the fab deco-inspired nail fashion that perfectly complimented the Belle Sauvage Spring/ Summer 2012 Collection.

The Look

Nails were first prepped with Mavala Basecoat to ensure a smooth application for colour. Mavala White (a solid, opaque shade) was applied all over the nail before Mavala Touch of Provence was added, leaving white half-moons in a retro-glam style.

“The contrast of the bold white against pastel lilac created a modern and refreshing take on the classis half moon 1940’s manicure.” Said Jenni.
